5very nice subwoofer  Mar 09, 2010
Very nice subwoofer and very easy set up, but you will need to buy subwoofer audio cable which is not included.

4Great Subwoofer for the price  Mar 07, 2010
I wanted a very inexpensive subwoofer to replace the one I had. And this one is great. This one replaced a 12" Infinity subwoofer than I had for about ten years. The Infinity finally bit the dust. The sound of this one is way better than the Infinity.
Love the lows, love the sound. It may be a bit bulky for some, but the sound is better than the more expensive one I had.

5Yamaha never fails to build quality products.  Mar 03, 2010
All I gotta say is dang these subs can hit. The sound quality is spectacular. If anyboy buys one of these subs you might as well do yourself a favor and get two of them. One sounds great but when you pair them up the LFE soundfield that they create is amazing. As other reviewers have stated the low bass that these subs put out is loud and crisp, not overwhelming though. If possible I do recommend placing these subs with Yamaha's performance series towers which will creat the mid-bass, they mesh very well with my Yamaha HTR-6260, NS-555, and the center channel and surrounding book shelf speakers.

5Its a Thumper  Mar 03, 2010
This thing is a welcome addition for any bass lover,it thumps pretty hard when turned up,a good buy for $95

5Suprised  Feb 18, 2010
I am in love with my new subwoofer! I honestly didn't think that it would be as loud as it is, but I was wrong. I live in a 1100 sq. ft 2 bedroom apartment and I can't even turn the volume up halfway without the walls vibrating. The bass is clear and not too boomy. Needless to say this subwoofer exceeded my expectations.
