Screws came with mine... Jul 21, 2011
By G. Benn Somehow I managed to crash and snap off the tabs that pin into the rotor blade assembly. I didn't really need the complete shaft but this had the part. I was able to loosen the screws (which were included, unlike the previous post) and swap the black piece onto the existing shaft attached to my chopper. It took a minute or two to get everything back but then we were flying again!

Disappointed! Jun 02, 2011
By Richard Cabico Although the part seems to match the original, I needed the screws, which are in the photo, but did not come with the part. This is disappointing and is misleading. Just make sure you don't need the screws!

It works. Aug 06, 2011
By Eric H It works. And it's a good match for the original Syma 107g. I found it more intuitive to transfer the replacement head to my original shaft (with its intact drive gear) to replace the broken blade axles. I don't know how hard it would have been to remove the gear - I assume it would not be easy.

Fixed my heli Nov 22, 2011
By nnorton44 Flew my Syma 107 with a broken wing and ended up warping the shaft and breaking the peice at the top. Bought this as a replacement and my heli is flying great again. Came with screws and was a direct replacement. Would recommend.

pins break constantly Jan 10, 2012
By fergusonjrhr It seams as though there is a very weak link in this helocopter...Although it flyes very well(easy to control even if you have never flew before...The pins that hold the upper blade assembly are not strong enough to handle more then just a couple light bumps into a wall etc...If someone would make an after market shaft with an aluminum pivot mount I believe this particular helocopter would be virtualy indestructable...I have an idea for a fix and I am going to try it...If it works I may try to offer the stronger fix to all who seek it...please check back in a couple weeks to see if what I fabricate does the trick...feel free to email me as I have created many parts for many RC products and I will try to guide anyone who is suffering from problems that just dont seem to be fixable... fergusonhr@yahoo.com
