Description:

The Concorso, from the Stührling Original’s Sportsmans series, comes incased in a polished 316L surgical grade stainless steel case with a beveled bezel, its finishing touch. The genuine carbon fiber dial features a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Large Arabic numerals are placed at the 6 and 12 o’clock positions with arrow pointers applied at all other positions. All hour markers and hour and minute hands have been treated with Super Luminova™. Seconds markers are printed on the perimeter of the main dial pointed out by a sweep center second hand that boasts a color coded arrow head. Just beyond the main dial is the outer track chapter ring trimmed with gauge-like minute and second markers complementing the overall theme of the Concorso. On the flip side of the Stührling Concorso is a screwed-in exhibition case back that has been decorated with a checkered flag design akin to the carbon fiber weave on the face. The movement has been embellished with Pearlage and Cotes de Geneva treatments on the pillar plates and a Damier finish and Stührling signature on the rotor. Both the front and back are protected with a Krysterna™ Crystal which features a date magnifier on the front. The final accoutrement to the Concorso is the genuine leather strap with checkerboard embossing and contrast stitching. The strap closes securely on your wrist with a push button deployment clasp giving it the perfect finishing touch.

Krysterna Crystals

Krysterna™ is proprietary to Stührling Original and refers to the crystals that are used in its timepieces. Krysterna™ stems from the eyewear industry and has more strength over a spread surface area than sapphire. Krysterna™ crystals are more scratch resistant than mineral crystals and more shatter resistant than sapphire crystals.

5Beautiful Watch  Jan 02, 2012
By Steve
This is my second Stuhrling watch. Beautiful design. The large green face and green stitching on the black band are very striking. Received many positive comments about this watch. While it is a self-winding mechanical watch, it has been accurate to within 30 seconds over 4 days. Very pleased.

5Good Looking Watch  Aug 29, 2008
By S. Cheung
This Stuhrling looks and feels nice. The picture for the green watchband does not do it justice. If you are looking for a green colored watch. This is a great alternate to either cheap crap or ultra expensive models.

5Very Nice Watch  Feb 03, 2012
By M. Seeman "EAST2WEST"
This is my second Stuhrling watch and I have to say I am impressed with this watch. The pictures do not do it justice. I've had it for a couple weeks now and the timing is spot on. Not too heavy or bulky. Not disappointed at all!

4Handsome & Legible Watch  Jan 25, 2012
By SB
This watch is very easy to read and I find the lettering and the hands provide excellent contrast. I like that the watch can also be wound mechanically. The instructions that came with the watch are easily understood. There is supposed to be a card with photos and instructions on how to adjust the watchband. Mine did not come with the watch. I checked the manufacturer's website and there was a video concerning the watchband. My wife read the instructions and adjusted it for me. Otherwise, I don't know if I would have figured it out. Maybe it's just me. In all other respects, it is a wonderful watch and I think it's very good looking.

1Very very disppointed  Jan 22, 2012
By aussie
Was looking forward to getting this watch, a bit of xmas gift for myself. It arrived in this very nice felt lined box with all the paper work telling me hold good it was going to be to own one of these fantastic watches. I give it a little shake ( it is an automatic) nothing..another shake..nothing. Read the instructions...yep pretty simple...shake it once more...absolutely nothing! So my excitment turned to dismay.....DOA!!!...So there is not a lot to review about it! Looks like a great watch...but was all show and no go. I actually chose the green version as it had good reviews(as opposed to the blue one). I guess this will the first not so good review for the green version. Just makes me wonder for a DOA, what type of quality control do Stuhrling undertake???. Not a lot by the looks. Well watch has been sent back to Amazon..hopefully for refund very soon. Maybe I just got a dud and I must admit, the outward appearance, style and price of the watch, it is tempting me to take another punt.....but I am not sure if I want to be part of the 'twice bitten twice shy' brigade!! Apart from the parlava associated with the return of the item and my pending refund...
