Description:

Strathwood has broadened its handsome collection of cast-aluminum furniture with the St. Thomas ensemble. Durable yet surprisingly lightweight, this chaise lounge adds a more upscale look to a sun porch, deck, or patio than wooden furniture, and is easier to move around. Able to hold up to 300 pounds, the chaise lounge measures 28-1/2 inches wide by 84-1/2 inches long by 44 inches high. It weighs approximately 29-1/2 pounds. Screw-on glides underneath the chaise's legs allow some leeway in adjusting for uneven surfaces.

Adding comfort to the seat is a single, 3-inch-thick folding cushion upholstered in fabric designed for outdoor use. The light beige cover is made of Olefin, which repels water and wipes clean but does not remove for cleaning. Four straps attach the cushion to the chair so it won't slide around during enjoyment or blow off in a strong wind. The cushion measures 83-1/2 inches long by 23-1/2 inches wide by 4 inches thick.

The St. Thomas deep seating collection also includes a choice of armchair styles, a loveseat, and a side table with ice bucket. Each piece features a dark-brown finish with bronze highlights and hand-painted silver flecks. The open ribbed design on the chaise's frame provides a smooth, even surface for comfort and allows water to fall through and dry out. This all-weather, easy-care furniture is made from the highest grade of aluminum. It is sand casted, covered in a powder-coat finish, and designed to be rust-free.

Strathwood furniture has quality, ease of use, and casual elegance at its core. Each piece is rigorously tested for durability, and assembly instructions have been standardized for simplicity from start to finish. Strathwood furniture is sleekly designed, handsomely finished, and built to last. This classic style and reliable craftsmanship will weather ever-changing trends and regular use for years to come.

3So So  May 16, 2008
By Barry Bonds "BarryBonds"
Ive had them for a week now, i got them for my wife for mothers day. At 199 + 50 shipping (so 250) they are fairly inexpensive comparatively. Ive seen much nicer ones for about 50 bucks more lowes and costco.
Pros:
Cushion is REALLY nice. Super think and comfortable. Durable material
Not too clunky, so they are easy to carry around the yard.
Nice looking

Cons:
Fairly cheaply built. More plastic parts then I wanted to see.
Mine are a bit wobbly, but they are on some uneven concrete.
They don't lay down all the way flat...kind of a bummer.

5comfortable and durable and great looking  May 18, 2008
By Lena "Lena"
it's a really good price for the quality. it's light and durable. cushions are very comfortable. it looks more expensive then it is. i love it! one review said that it doesn't go all the way flat, but i found a way to make it flat by folding the support inside the chair, so you can make it completely flat if you like.

4Excellent Value  Jul 07, 2009
By D. Vidal "cozy reader"
We have purchased other cast aluminum products (table & chairs) and wanted to make sure a chaise would be sturdy, last as long and still be attractive. Very well made, thick comfy cushion and it looks great on my deck - even while my 6'2" husband is snoozing on it.

5Great buy. I'm buying more.  Jul 04, 2008
By T. Gullatte
These are a great buy for the price. They are extremely comfortable and they look really good. When you compare specs, most other chaise lounges only have a 3" cushion. These have a 4" cushion and it makes such a difference. Anyone who's come over and sat in our chaise lounges by the pool has commented on how nice and comfortable they are. When I first bought them, I paid $250 + $50 shipping. Now that the price has dropped, it's an even better buy.

5Strathwood St. Thomas Lounge Chair  Jul 22, 2010
By Chester F. Willey "Chet Willey"
The Strathwood St. Thomas lounge chair is an excellent value for the money. I also liked the fact that it had a 300 pound capacity so I don't have to worry about anyone getting hurt at our pool parties. The lounge chairs were delivered within four days of my order and were easy to assemble. They are very comfortable and should last a long time.
