This little car is great! We got it for our daughters first birthday and loved that it came in pink! Both our daughter and 3-year old son love this car. It is good quality- so good, we ordered the Step 2 Fire Truck for our sons birthday!

I bought the little tikes version for my son and this one for my daughter. I like the little tikes better because both doors open, the horn works and it has the pretend key that makes noises. This one doesnt have all those features. My twins fight over the little tikes one while this one just sits there. So even the kids prefer little tikes.

I bought this for my 15 month old daughter for Christmas and what a great buy. My 4 year old loves playing in it as well. It works out great - they pack the back with some books or toys and "drive away". The door works great for the little ones to open and shut - its not heavy and does not stick. The "horn" that plays music is easy to push for little fingers - very happy with the purchase. And the price was perfect as well. I have to say I am VERY happy I chose this toddler car vs. Little Tikes for the very reason of the back storage area. VERY PLEASED

I bought this as a present for a relative. I put it together for my relative, so I can tell you that assembly is a bit of a pain. You have to hold certain parts together in order to attach them, so it's not just a question of knowing your way around the toolbox. You need some unnatural dexterity to pull it off if you don't have someone help you with it.
Once you're past assembly, though, this toy is great. The kids love it, it's durable, and it's easy to use. The little storage compartment in back is very cute, and the kids seem very comfortable in the seat. I don't know how the music is, we never installed batteries in it.

Great product and great customer service Dec 30, 2008

Our 17 month old loves this car. She plays with it more than any of her other Christmas toys. She likes to get in and out through the door and put her toys in the "trunk".
Ours arrived with a broken steering wheel. I called Step2 and spoke with a customer service rep. She appologized for the problem and said they would mail a replacement part. I made this call on Dec 19 and the part arrived before Christmas! Excellent customer service. I will look for more Step2 products!
