Spalding 88465 Apr 08, 2007
By JCJ For a mid-range system, the components and parts appear to be strong and durable. Installation is reasonably simple, requiring two persons and requires some time for concrete to cure. For the price of $399.99 and excellent free shipping, this system is an impressive find.

Great quality for the money! Apr 23, 2007
By Steve Riley This is a great quality basketball system for the money. The acrylic backboard is thick and solid and so is the pole. It is a 3 piece pole system which initially concerned me but the instuctions are to fill the pole with concrete and once this is done the pole is as solid as a rock. You will absolutely need 2 people and a 2 days to assemble this.

Looks like a pro system!!! Dec 24, 2008
By Eugene Cambronero It takes a least two people for assembly and about two or three days for the cement to cure, the instructions guide you through with no problem, and once it is set up it is incredible sturdy. The fact that the height can be adjusted is great because it works for the little ones as well as for the grownups. I've played basketball professionally and this system makes me remember my good old times. You get a great product for the money you pay.
Great Basketball System Jun 09, 2009
By Beast This is a great basketball system. Be prepared to spend several days with lots of work but it is worth it. The height adjustment is very easy to use. All of the parts showed up the first time. Go for it!
Solid May 11, 2009

"Frugal shopper"
This is a solid basketball hoop for the price and it arrived very quickly. Two things are missing that would be nice, netting around the hoop and a pad for the pole, which can be purchased on-line. The hardest part for us was putting the pole together (three pieces that you have to slam together), filling the pole with cement and then putting this extremely heavy cement filled pole in the small sleeve once the cement hole in the ground was cured. I will say this, the whole job was done together in about three days by a strong husband and a 7 month pregnant wife helping!
