 Head size changed in 2009 & watch sizes Oct 11, 2009

Apparently they have decreased the size of Scooby's head for 2009. The head is a little smaller and no longer has the whisker dots. If you look for other images of this item, it no longer looks like the picture with the child looking to the side with his hands down. The 2009 model for this costume has his hands on his hips and is looking at the camera.
Do not expect the size numbering system does not match the age of the child. For example, the tags for the Toddler 2-4T state "for 1-2 years" - way too small for a 3 to 4-year-old (and in my experience, it WAS too small). The size "small" is for a 3-year-old or smaller 4-year-old.
The costume is very nice, as others have noted.

Costume is very well made and will last through many days of playing "Scooby Dooby Doo". Size is close to childrens clothing, might want to go one size up if child fits into clothing perfectly. Would definately purchase other costumes from this maker/seller again.

My 5 yr old grandson had outgrown his favorite costume, a Scooby Doo from last year, size Small kids.
So I ordered a new one in Medium (they said 8-10). When it arrived the package said Medium 5-7. And it is TOO small, he's not an unusually large 5 yr old, wears size 5-6 usually.
This isn't much bigger than the Small from last year and he is so disappointed. He's very unhappy that I have to return it, but even worse, the quality has gone down hill. Lighter weight fabric, he even noticed that the SD "tag" is flimsy compared with his old one. Price is a little higher than last year, too.
And NO ONE has a Large kids anywhere on line - I've spent the last 30 minutes searching and searching. I have a sad 5 yr old Scooby-lover on my hands!
So, I'm going to return it with no replacement coming.

The costume we received in the mail was not the same costume pictured online. Called the company and the picture online was not updated to what the manufacturer supplied the company with. The manufacturer must have switched this scooby costume (with the cuter head) with another scooby costume that is seen much cheaper elsewhere on the internet. The company "Costume Craze"'s customer service was excellent at handling this situation and took care of us. Costume Craze had very friendly customer service and I would buy through them again.
