Great product, especially for Samsung TV Owners Feb 07, 2008
By HDMI Guy I've had this mount for 6 months or so, didn't buy from Amazon as it was not available from them at that point. This mount is awesome, no complaints whatsoever. It is most beneficial if you have a Samsung TV since it integrates with the latest models' remotes. If you plan to use Samsung's Blueray player with this item over HDMI, set your TV position before you select the HDMI source since you can't move the mount once Samsung's "Anynet" HDMI control feature is in use. I'm not sure why this is an issue but just thought I'd mention it.

Perfect Mount for Samsung LCD Dec 16, 2008
By C. Lam This mount sells for much more at other sites. I used this mount with an LN52A850 LCD TV. It integrates perfectly with their proprietary "EX-LINK" interface. The mount includes a 3.5 mm RCA jack to connect your mount to your TV. From there, you simply aim at the TV's IR sensor and press the arrow keys on your remote to move/to change viewing angles of your TV. In my case, I used my Logitech universal remote and it worked perfectly. Setup may be a problem: In my case, I have a recessed wall within which the TV and mount are seated. I had to use a long lever (included for another purpose with the mount) since I couldn't reach or see the setup button located on the mount behind the TV. Also, you have to manually set the mount as far against the wall as possible before pressing the button, as the mount considers this your home position after figuring out where your walls are located. Yes, the mount moves itself around to its maximum articulation in all directions until it runs into an obstruction. It then remembers where these points are and prevents you from steering your TV into them while using the mount. You may think of this as a sort of ingenious safety mechanism. After quite a few tries reseating the TV and pressing the setup button, I finally got a very excellent result. The mount allows you to save three positions. In my case, I have a tilt-towards-living-room position, tilt-towards-dining-room positions, and tilt-towards-front-door position. The mount articulates quite a few degrees: up to 15 degrees pitch (up or down) and up to 25 degrees yaw (left or right). When you're finished using the TV and turn it off, it retracts itself back to its home position. In my case, the home position is back to its centered position in the recess in the wall. Also, when you return to use the TV, as an added bonus, it returns the TV to the position it was when you used it last. To sum it all up, you can obtain this mount for even cheaper than manually operated mounts, the mount's a perfect integration with a Samsung set, and it works beautifully with a universal remote. If that weren't enough, it comes with a great deal logic where it not only remembers your favorite positions, but also returns itself to its home position when you're done using it and will move the TV to last viewed position when you turn it on again. If you have a 40"-52" Samsung LCD or Plasma TV, this mount is a must-buy!

Great Mount! Mar 05, 2009
By Richard Segura Not to sure what the previous reviewer is talking about. I have been using this mount on my 52" a650 LCD and it works awsome. I'm sure there may have been issues with some units in the past but what product doesn't have issues. I took all day in mounting this just because I wanted to make sure that it was done correctly and as level as possible. I mounted it over the fireplace. I used a nice piece of poplar wood stair plank section to mount to the studs of the walls and then centered the mount as needed onto the plank (still catching a stud on one side). Result was a solid, level and great looking center piece. I'm sure that the failure rate is directly linked to how level the product was installed in the first place but time will tell. In the mean time I'm really enjoying the set and mount which has all the great features mentioned in the other reviews.
Great deal, easy install! Jul 04, 2011
By Rob This thing worked out great in my room. Very easy to install, sturdy. Hung a 52" with no problems. Great for keeping the room clean looking tucking back into the wall.
Samsung 46" LCD and Samsung Wall Mount Sep 15, 2009
By KillarBlaze007 5 screws and hung the 46" LCD on it. Quick and easy to setup as well. It would have got 5 stars but for some reason the mount loses the last position after turning off the tv and turning it back on. Also there are too many menus to go through to get to the wall mount options. You should be able to press a button to active it and use the directional arrows on the remote. Too bad I didn't buy two or more when I had the chance. Samsung does not even offer it on their web site. I got mine about a year ago and have been looking to buy another one for about 6 months. I hope amazon reads this......
update:
I guess someone read the above review. A few days after posting, I found it available on amazon and was able to order one for my living room. Now to get the 52" or 55" Samsung HDLCD.
