I find the Pleomax 800 speakers to be exactly what I was searching for. I needed a compact speaker that could deliver quality sound without the cumbersome larger equipment. The USB connectivity allows you to connect, install driver and new hardware instantly even with the new windows vista. You immediately enjoy dynamic sound from the attactive mini crystal style speakers without spending a fortune. For the price range they are very good.

Small size, small price, small sound. If depth of sound isn't a concern, these speakers work. For a richer, fuller sound, you'll have to spend more money.

These speakers was to replace my old dell speakers. The Samsung Pleomax PSP-800 USB Portable 2.0 Channel Speakers I got these speakers from amazon and have not have a problem with them and works good with my vista computer and sometime I try ubuntu on my usb stick and the speakers work in ubuntu to but you have to go in to sounds to config it first. I got them in January 14, 2009 and had no problem .

I use these all day, 5 days a week with my laptop and I have not had any problems. Love these and would recommend them to anyone looking to tune people out at work! ;-)
