Although this TV mount is advertised for a Samsung, it really is a universal mount. I bought it for my 58 inch Panasonic plasma TV that weighs 102 lbs. I had a lot of trouble finding a mount that I thought could handle the weight of this TV and still have the tilt, swivel and articulating features I was looking for. I was a bit skeptical having never seen the mount in person, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
The first impression of this was when my wife called me at work to tell me it was delivered. FedEx left it on the front porch and she could not pick it up and bring it inside. It is incredibly heavy....and sturdy. Once I mounted this to the wall and hung the TV on it, the mount didn't sag, bend, or dip at all. It really held the 102 lbs. without any trouble. It can be moved to any position I want....tilt to reduce overhead lighting glare, or swivel to eliminate reflections from the wall of windows.
The only modification I made to the mount was to drill two additional hole for mounting. This is supposed to mount to the wall with four lag bolts. I was a bit nervous about using only four bolts, so I drilled two more holes in the backplate so I could use six (three bolts in each of the two wall studs). I am now 100% confident that this will hold up long past the TV.
After looking at a lot of options in all configurations and prices, I am absolutely convinced that this is not only the best TV mount for the money but the best TV mount on the market, especially if you are looking for full motion, strength, style and value.

I am one of those "types" that researches everything and tries to get the best product for the best price. After too many hours lost that I will never get back, I ordered this mount. It was economically priced and had great reviews. It went up easily. It is heavy and will take two people to put up. I love that it has a level built in to help triple check it. We have a 55" Vizio that weighs about 72 lbs. I have absolutely no fear of this coming down. Stop looking! This is it!

Built well and shipped fast. What more can you ask for, I had no problem mounting my tv to it and the swivel function works great. It was also very easy to level. It has a built in level on the plate that screws into the wall.

After checking out all wall mounts on the net and going to Wal- mart and Best buy, the wall mount that I got here at Amazon is the bust bang for the buck that I could find. I have a 52 inch flat screen and wanted a mount that would move out from the wall to get at the plugs and the would tilt ether up and down or side ways. This mount does all that and is strong enough that I will not loose my TV. I ended up buying two and at less then I would have payed for one of another brand.

This is an excellent mount - very heavy duty and swings out and around very easily.
I used it to mount a 51" Samsung plasma.
The only problem was that it must be screwed into two studs 16" apart (plus or minus a couple of inches). As you can see from the picture, there are extra holes in the mount so the studs can be off a couple of inches one way or the other from where you want it centered and it will still work.
However, the area where I wanted it is centered right on a stud, meaning that the best I could do was to go from the center stud to the next stud over, which would put it way off center. The only alternative would be to tear open the wall and mount some additional support for it, which was more than I wanted to do.
It seems like they could have made the mounting plate wide enough to allow for such a situation, and since they didn't, I knocked one star off the rating.
