After reading the two very negative reviews on this site I was apprehensive about buying this router. After reading these reviews a second time I determined these folks either did not read the complete instructions provided on the included DVD or they were not computer literate. .One fellow was shocked to find out a router requires a power cord.

I am very pleased with this router and had no trouble installing it and getting it to work with my Samsung SmartTV.

When I did have one minor problem - I sent an email to Samsung Support and received an answer within 24 hours. I think it was great service.

This was the easiest thing to do. Just plug and play really. Works great even through several concrete walls in a very large apartment.

This router is excellent. It is very customisable and has some features generally found only on business-class and more expensive routers. My two favourite features are the simultaneous dual-band capability and the ability to setup port forwarding from one external port to a different internal port. It also has a very strong signal/range.

My only beef is that there isn't much support information for it on the Samsung support site because it's actually manufactured for Samsung by D-Link but it's easy to set up using the wizard for those who aren't technically proficient.

I went directly to the Samsung website in hopes of getting more detailed specifications on this unit.
To my surprise, all the info tabs beyond the 'overview' tab were blank, saying there is no information available. How can a company sell an electonic device under their brand name with absolutely no spec and feature information on it. I was also looking to download the documentation prior to a purchase. Wishful thinking. Somehow they are dropping the ball on the accessories to these great TV's. When you need 2 remotes to operate a Samsung soundbar with your Samsung Smart(????) TV, it makes you wonder.

IF YOU BUY THIS ROUTER YOU NEED TO CALL D-LINK FOR SET-UP 1-855-278-7678. WAS A REAL "B" TO SET-UP THIS IS SAMSUNG ROUTER DEPT. SAMSUNG REGULAR CUSTOMER DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. I REALLY DON'T RECOMMEND IT TOOK FAR TO LONG TO GET WORKING.
