Great sound, geat playback time and great price (23 bucks), but a little uncomfortable Mar 31, 2009
By R. Dunlap I bought my Samsung SBH170 Stereo Headphones for 23 bucks. That was an amazing price for the headphones, especially when the sound was so good. I didn't expect sound that rivaled more expensive headphones.
I bought these to listen to online radio and music on my HTC Touch Pro and they were well worth it. They are rated for around 8 hours or talk playback time, but I tested them with continuous stereo music at 8.5 hours before turning them off. They ran another 2 hours the next day before they began to give me a low battery signal (it takes about 3 hours for them to fully recharge).
The SBH170's are easy to use. The controls are on the left ear and easy to remember. The volume control is a little hard to get to (I have large hands) but it is still workable. The hands-free button for talking is easy to use and works flawlessly.
Talking is not too bad on the SBH170. Your voice is heard fairly well but it is not as good as a common higher cost single ear Bluetooth headset. I bought these for the wireless stereo capability, so taking a hands free call (or making one) is not as important to me. Still, it is better than passable.
The SBH170 is not as comfortable as I'd like it to be. The speakers are fairly heavy, and while that helps the sound playback, the headphones tend to hurt my ears after a couple hours. I need to adjust them every so often, but I do not normally wear them that long anyway so at the cost they are great for my needs. The headphones are "one size fits all" so it would be nice if Samsung would design them to be more adjustable. In fact, if the headset was adjustable and more comfortable they would be perfect for my needs.
I want to mention that I also bought Cardo S-2 Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones for around 25 bucks and while they are more comfortable, and lighter, I believe they are inferior to the Samsung SBH170.
If I had to pay the full price I would give the SBH170's 4 stars. But despite the lack of comfort, and the fact that cell phone talking is just a bit better than passable, I am rating these 5 stars based on the great playback time, the great stereo sound and the low cost.

Keeps falling off. Crunches ears. Don't buy. Aug 07, 2010
By Dcode I'm glad I didn't pay the full $120 for this. I only paid $45 thinking I'd take a risk and try it since some other reviews were good, like on CNet. I don't consider myself having a big head, but this thing sure doesn't fit my head. It crunches my ears down, giving me Alphalpha ears. Very embarrasing. If I move my head to the right or left, they fall off. Don't buy these! It doesn't even fit my wife's small head very well. Would give 0 stars if I could. I would return, but I don't know the sellers return policy.
Update: Seller won't accept my return due to "hygenic" reasons. I wish I hadn't taken the chance on this one.

Excelent Product.... Feb 01, 2010
By David Rios Ocampo Muy buen producto, pero si se usa por largo tiempo, es un poco molesto para las orejas y el cuello pues comienza a tallar... El sonido es excelente, y la conexión bluetooth también... Lo recomiendo 100%.

Devil in the details - good features lacking finishing touch May 24, 2009
By Tomasz Tarchala This could have been a great headset. Talk and standby times are great, range is great, controls are OK and there are no pairing hassles with anything (tested on PCs, Macs, Windows Mobile phones and iPhone). But: * The mic is next to useless. You will only be heard on the phone when shouting. * Maximum volume level is too low, making it useless in exactly the kind of environment where you'd benefit most from wirelessness, such as a crowded, noisy train * Headband/neckband too short for wider heads like mine
Clever but completely ineffective design Aug 09, 2011
By APT60 The idea of a headset that automaticlly folds up when removed from your head is certainly useful. However Samsung missed the mark with this design. Although the sound quality is decent, it is almost impossible to keep these on your head with even the smallest amount of movement. As headphones they are almost useless!
What was equally disappointing was an Amazon Merchant's insistance upon charging a 20% restocking fee for a product that is clearly defective by design rather than a manufacturing flaw. If you decide to try these, be sure to select a merchant who will allow a return (as you probably will want to) without unreasonable charges.
