I have a small pool and did not want to install a seperate pump for the cleaner.
This vacuum is all it is advertised to be and more. The hook up is easy. 10 minutes out of the box should be enough.
I highly recommend this cleaner.

I have a small pool with no cage. We get leaves, etc. every week, it is not real bad but it can't wait for the pool guy.
This little machine can clean the entire pool floor in less than 24 hours. I usually put it in the pool one or two days a week and the pool is clean when I get home from work. I had no idea how well this Polaris ATV could clean. I had one issue in that the ATV would get hung up on the pool drain at times. Polaris sells a simple drain cover that eliminated the problem. I would highly reccomend this for a small to medium sized pool.

After years of dealing with another brand of pool cleaner and getting ripped off by the sellers of the lousy plastic parts, I switched to the Polaris ATV. It works like a champ, non-stop, no problems, and I couldn't be happier with the product. Seller shipped immediately with no delay.

Look, folks, I've tried the good, bad, and the ugly when it comes to pool cleaners: the Baracuda, Hayward, Kreepy Krauly, and now the Polaris.
So let me tell you---this pool cleaner is a good buy. It's quiet, effective, and reliable (unlike the Kreepy Krauly).
It's actually relaxing to watch this little guy work as he silently rolls around your pool. He minds his own business and does his job (unlike the Kreepy Krauly that is loud and always gets stuck on the steps).
I should warn you that this machine isn't fast, and I have caught him taking a break now and then, but overall it does a great job and keeps my pool clean.

For whatever reason Amazon has the Polaris ATV pool vacuum in the "toy" category. Hope this gets to the right place because this pool cleaner is the best! I had a rough start with a couple of defective modules but Zodiac (Polaris' parent company) took excellent care of the problem.
My ATV runs great and my pool looks awesome - I've recommended the ATV to others who struggle with getting and keeping their pools clean about this product.
