I bought these speakers to pair with a pioneer head unit(22w RMS). Four speakers cost me only 50$, which is a steal for how well these perform. The stated low end Hz cutoff is 40, so I set my headunit to cut off beneath 50, and these things work beautifully.
Its true the low end is a bit lacking, but the mid-low, mids, and highs are stellar for such an economical speaker! Paired with a decent sub, these speakers will allow you to create a fantastic sounding entry level sound system for very little $. Even without a sub, I now love listening to music in my car again.
P.S. These things can crank up very loud without any drop-off in quality, cant recommend them enough.

These speakers are excellent. Used them to replace standard speakers on a 1998 Honda Civic. Installation was easy and the resulting sound was awesome.

Just installed them last night. They sound a lot better then the old aftermarket speakers that they replaced in our '89 Civic. No fit issues just screwed right in to factory mount. Old aftermarket Kraco deck powers them fine.
