Probobly the best 2-way speakers on the market... May 22, 2006
By J. Brooks I have four of these in my 90 Accord and all I can say is WOW. Installing these were like adding four mini subs to the car.
I first had them connected to my factory head-unit and they sounded really good. The highs were clean and clear and the mids were fantastic. The bass response was lacking, but was still low enough to shake the living hell out of the car.
A while later I updated the head-unit and the bass response just exploded! I think they weren't getting enough juice from the factory unit.
You can crank the volume up and not a single buzz will come out of these. Very solid!
Not only do these sound extraordinary, they have a look to match.
And finally, these babies are rigid. Being in a car in 110 degree weather would destroy practically any other speakers, but not these. They are over constructed in some respect.
I couldn't be happier! These are a must have.
Also, Amazon has them listed as 60 watts, they aren't, they are 60 watts nominal, 260 watts max.
Better looking than sounding, blew within a year Mar 17, 2012
By darito I had these for about a year. They look pretty awesome with the yellow kevlar cone and everything but sound was good, not WOW. They blew within a year of use WITHOUT the use of an amplifier, they blew just with the CD deck. I had to throw them out.

Excelent Sound Dec 11, 2007
By DMERCHAN Excelent Sound, i installed them in my Toyota Meru 2008, the only catch is for the front door i needed a spacer to let the front window open freely. Not a Pioneer issue.
