Relatively quick and easy, and works great! Nov 09, 2009
By W. Hamilton My wife and I just made our first foray into a 50" widescreen plasma, and decided to go the extra mile and wall mount it. I'm not that handy, but can handle easy projects. It turns out that mounting our tv on the wall was not hard at all. The instructions were clear, and the fact that the kit came with several different sets of bolts etc. depending on your tv helped a lot. It's also great that the kit came with masonry parts just in case we need to do that in the future. The hardest part was making sure we found the studs and that the mount was level. Overall it took under an hour to do it all, and we took our time. The mount itself is very sturdy, and my wife loves that she can swivel it towards the kitchen when she's cooking.

Great fully mobile flat screen tv mount Oct 28, 2009

I needed a wall mount that would swivel in all directions and still be stable for my 32" Panasonic Viera. I got this yesterday & thought that due to it's inherent weight, it would be difficult to put up & hard to deal with... wrong! I marked the studs, drilled 4 holes, got my DeWalt driver out for the 4 lag bolts, put it over my shoulder and ran the bolts into place. Next four screws to the back of the TV, hung it immediately on the hooks, adjusted the set screws and I can tilt, swivel pull out, shove back the TV as easy as you could wish. I says it can handle up to 50" and I believe it. there are spacers for mounting a rounded back flat screen as well & as long as you get the bolts well embedded in the stud, it could easily handle a large plasma TV. The mounting strips for the TV back have holes aplenty to fit most any brand flat screen... Obviously I am very pleased with it & readily give it 5 stars!

Well Made, Great Value - room for minor improvement Dec 27, 2010
By AB I used this to mount a Panasonic 50" plasma (TC-P50S2) in Nov 2010. The mount arrived very quickly (to CA) and was undamaged. I had a little issues with the length of the screws provided that hold the brackets to the back of the TV. When I called Panasonic to check on the length of the screws to use, they recommended 15mm which were not included with the mount. After checking the depth of the holes in the back of the TV, I found that 20mm would be sufficient to hold the TV without being deep enough to touch any components inside the TV. So I bought 20mm bolts from H.Depot. The mount was very easy to fix to the wall and it easily holds the 50" plasma. The only issue that bothers me, is that there seems to be no provision for stopping lateral movement of the TV in the event of an earthquake. The two vertical screws that stop the TV coming foreward off the back plate certainly will not stop it moving sideways. I bought a set of two aluminium window anti-slide devices and fixed them to the top flange of the back plate after centering the TV so it cannot move sideways easily. They cost only a few dollars. Be sure to level the back plate before hanging your TV on it. (This process is nicely explained in the instructions and is very easy to accomplish). We have an L shaped lounge/dining area. The TV is mounted in the adjoining corner on a 5 foot wide 45-degree angled wall. It's great to be able to swivel the TV so it can be seen from either room. All-in-all, this mount is very solid, easy to install and looks nice. The great price is a huge plus. We saw similar mounts at Best Buy for $300+.

Great buy Jul 17, 2011
By D. Ferry I installed an 80 lb., 50" plasma in my house with this mount. The room is long and narrow, so I needed a very flexible mount that would swivel to face wherever one is watching from. This mount has a very large range of motion, is very easy to move, and feels like it could support twice the weight it's holding. Installation took no more than 30 minutes. As others have noted, make sure you secrurely fasten it into more than one wall stud, and follow the TV manufacturer's recommendation on the length of the mounting bolts. Price was fantastic- I've seen others listed for 3-4 times the price and can't imagine them working any better than this one.

Awesome! May 16, 2011
By CJs Thoughts This is a very sturdy wall mount. Used to mount our 50" Panasonic Vierra HD flat screen. We placed it some what close to a corner and it adjusts nicely for everyone's viewing pleasure. So easy to get to your connections.
