Well, my son is at the age when he wants "muscles". So, I gave him muscles. He loves the shirt and it's easy to get on and off. He's even played tricks on family and friends and has worn it under clothes so he looks like a "real muscle guy." My only comment is that we have darker skin and it would be nice f the product came in 3 standard colors, light, medium and dark. Otherwise it's a great dress-up item for a young boy.

I expected to be disappointed, based on the reviews - but I ordered it anyways because my 7yo had his heart set on being El Santo (a lucha libre wrestler) for Halloween and he needed to be "shirtless". Instead, I'm really pleased - and my son is thrilled becaue he had no idea muscle shirts even existed.
I ordered the size M because my son is a little on the small/slim end and he wears a size 6/6x. The muscle shirt seems like a true size 8 - I wouldn't say it would work for a size 10. The color is a light tan and is a realistic tone if your kid has a more olive complexion. There is plenty of room for my son to wear a sweatshirt or even a polar fleece underneath for trick-or-treating in MN (bbrrr!). The quality of construction is similar to what you'd find with the average costume: light polyester material, velcro closure, cheap serging on the fabric edges. I thought the muscle definition was great for what we paid and we'll get a good year of use out of it.

Costume quality material. Product is as shown in picture. Makes for a great "Strongman" circus costume or a professional wrestler costume.

Horrible. piece of cr*p. didnt like it my son hated it. So did I its cheaplymade with velcro in the back. But hey i guess you get what you pay for. Right??

Both my kids loved these..they are using them for wrestling dress up. My only suggestion would be to order the next size up...a 10-12 was really more of an 8-10, and therefore, a bit small...but the kids made it work by just not attaching it entirely in the back.
