5Great Durable Toys for Tots  Feb 23, 2010
I LOVE Melissa and Doug everything! I got this set for my almost 2 year old daughter and she loves it so much!
We store them in her play kitchen. It's colorfully painted and comes in wooden crates for easy storage. I love how this set represents the four food groups and my daughter can identify a lot of the foods already! When ever she wants banana for instance, she brings me the banana and shouts "Nana!!" I find these little guys everywhere in the house. Especially when I'm cooking! She'll be a little cooker soon enough! I'm so happy to have these toys for her wooden collection. By far one of our best purchases for the baby girl!

5Food Groups  Feb 17, 2010
The Melissa and Doug food group set was a big hit with my two year old niece this Christmas. She plays with the food regularly at her kitchen and even loves to use the mini wooden crates in her pretending. I definitely think the look of the wood food is so much nicer than a lot of the plastic options out there.

5Great, wooden food for play kitchen  Feb 11, 2010
My 21 mth old daughter LOVES her Melissa and Doug wooden food groups. She plays with them all the time. They are very durable, colorful, and realistic.
My only complaint would be that they are really loud when she throws them on the hardwood floors but all wooden toys do that.

5fantastic  Feb 06, 2010
My granddaughter could not open this present fast enough. She immediately had us rip open the plastic wrap and proceeded to play with it,ignoring all of her other Christmas presents.

5Awesome Foods!  Jan 24, 2010
These are just adorable. I love the little crates, and it does help to keep everything organized. I just wish that they had a replacement policy for a single item. We lost the stick of butter at a hotel. It was unknowingly packed. The designs on the food are appropriate, and creative. They are just the right size. These are made in china, which I thought Melissa and Doug did Mfg in the US, BUT these are well made. I would have rather had them made in the US, but they seem just fine.
