We bought this for our 21 mth old son who loves trains, just a beginner track to see if he would play with a big set. After having it several days, my son wakes up asking about his train and wants to play with it often throughout the day. His attention span is very short but he will play with this for at least 20min at a time several times a day. As an adult I can say there is not much to it and I find it a little boring as it is just a circle but its not for adults its for kids and he loves it. He takes the track apart and puts it together many different ways. He is able to put the train together and take it apart as it has magnetics and he knows that one way it doesn't fit. He LOVES the little horse and cow and puts them in and takes them out constantly and yells "all aboard". It appears to be very good quailty. The magnetic train holds together even when he holds it in the air. I love that everything is wooden (except the little baskets on the cars) and is very unlikely to break. It stays on the track pretty well especially for how clumbsy he is. I am not sure this would be a great choice for a 3 or 4 years old since it is very simple but he just LOVES it and you can't beat the price. We will definatly be adding to it for Christmas.

"Source of all Comfort"
I bought this for my 2 yr old son to add to his trains for Easter. He doesn't love the trains more than the Thomas ones, but the track works and he loves the open cars with the animals. It's just as durable as the Thomas stuff, and the track does match up with the wooden Thomas tracks...part of why I started buying it in the first place - it's like half the price!

This was a good buy. We use the train cars to put other things in too. Love how it is engaging in that respect. Not sure how durable the plastic will be (like if the car was ever stepped on) but its cute and we are satisfied!

Cute train and tracks. We were looking for a train with track that wasn't huge and easy to store for our two year old's birthday present. He really enjoys it and it is easy to put together. I am happy with the purchase. $15 is a fair price.

This little circle of train tracks is a WONDERFUL starter set, as you can infinitely connect other sets as the child grows in his/her ability to manipulate the parts. This toy is sturdy and safe, like all Melissa and Doug products. Highly recommend for little ones that are just old enough to play with a small train.
