Great Toy! Dec 16, 2010

MUCH Bigger than expected! I thought I was buying a train for wooden train tracks. This is an independent train. Great items that fit inside train cars - toy milk, veggie crates and cow. Very proud to give as gift.

great train! Mar 03, 2011
By Puxatawney Phil I went to a toy store looking for a train, and all I could find were Thomas the Train engine. Overpriced, really small, and needing batteries to make noise.
I just wanted a basic cute train for my two-year-old to push around, and this was exactly what I was looking for. It's a good size, and my little boy can spend quite a bit of time pushing this in circles around on the coffee table.

Very happy Jan 08, 2011
By shopper Even though I know Melissa and Doug are top of the line I was still suprised at the quality of this train. Brightly colored pieces fit easily and there doesn't seem to be anyway for him to hurt himself with it. That was a concern as he just had his 1st brthday.

Awesome train!! 3 year old loves it! Bigger than I thought! Oct 17, 2011
By Mom of 2 toddlers This train is amazing! Great simple design that's good for imaginative play. I could see a 1-yr old loving it, but my 3-year old plays with his every day. It's easy to connect the train cars, and there are enough pieces to make it interesting, but not so many that you go crazy looking for them. It's also BIG! This is a stand-alone toy, not a little train that goes on Thomas-sized train tracks. My son pulls it all over the house--it can go anywhere. Seems very sturdy and well made. Get it!! You'll love it!!

My 2 yr. old grandson loved it. It was bigger than it looked in pictures and keeps him entertained for hours.
