I purchased this costume because my little girls' were having a Princess Birthday Party in January 2007. This is an exquisite costume for any little boy. Our little four-year-old son looked like an authentic Medieval Hero. He loves it and he will be wearing it again for Halloween. Because our son is smaller than the average boy of four, he will be able to wear it longer. I am clearly getting my money's worth from this awesome costume. The only bummer, was that it did not come with a sheild or the sword. I bought it separately. No biggie. You will adore your pictures of your little boy in this get up. Totally amazing scrapbooking pages.

 Runs small, get what you pay for Aug 20, 2010

The design of the costume is great, but it is cheaply made (don't expect it to last long), and it runs small. I bought for my 2 year old son who is about 34.5" tall with the widest part of his torso (his ribs) about 19.5" (he is slender); he wears 2T in most brands of clothes.
Sizing: The size 2T costume was too small for my son; the jumsuit pulled too tight from the crotch to the shoulder, and even the vest/tabard was stretched width-wise to its limit. The sizing information for Paper Magic costumes, which I didn't know until I got the package was:
The size 2T reads: height 32-33.5", chest 21", weight 26.5-30 lbs.
The size 3T-4T reads: height 34 - 41.5", chest 22-23", and weight 30-38 lbs.
I would suggest paying attention to the height requirement due to the crotch to shoulder rise and that the 2T chest measurement should be a max of 19.5" which will still be tight.
Quality: It is a cool design, but I don't think it would last more than one night with my son; he constantly pulled on parts of it and I know it would easily rip.
Alternative: I am going to get him a costume from Aeromax which is the only quality brand of costumes for toddler boys I can find (they do have a knight outfit). The Aeromax costumes are more expensive but they seem to be a better value because they will last I think through many wearings. My son still has his 18 month size astronaut costume from last year which looked great; it still looks great, and it almost still fits, strangely enough!

My 3 1/2 year old son wore this costume for Halloween this year and he looked absolutely adorable. The shield and sword were necessary accessories (at least in his mind). He really thought he was a knight! Beware of the sizing, as the costume JUST fit. He is borderline 3T/4T and in another month it will likely be too small. The belt didn't stay on very well, but I just added a bit of velcro.

This is a very cute costume and my son got many compliments on it. However be aware that it is poorly made and the fabric is cheap. It also runs small. I saw someone commenting that it runs small so I purchased size 3T for my son who is 2 years old and normally wears size 2T and that fit him. Had I purchased the size 2T, it would have been impossible for him to wear it.

I bought this for a nice low price expecting to have to augment it with some homemade touches. I didn't have to add anything! It is a very cute costume and I would recommend it to others.
