5Big Boy's Toy  Nov 14, 2009
By S. Krohn
I bought this for my husband-a car nut and kid at heart. He still loves to build with legos, and he was very happy with this gift. He opened the box the day I gave it to him and had it assembled in two or three days. I'm sure it would take a child a good amount of time to assemble (and make the price more worth it). These cars are really neat. There are many features that you can manipulate once the car is built. It is quite large and we currently don't have any place to keep it except on top of the fridge. These (like many other legos) are not sturdy enough to play with after it has been built. Perhaps if you are very careful, you could "drive" it around very slowly, but we have to keep it far away from our 4 yo!

5Summertime has begun - and my son is now BUSY!  Jun 30, 2009
By Tarun Chachra "Tarun Chachra"
I have 13 year old that has just gotten in to the world of lego. He is a bit late to the game but started with the advanced sets asap. We went through a few star wars ones..etc. Normally it takes him a day to go through an entire kit. But it was time for a challenge.....time for something that would take more then a day to build.

WE saw this Ferrari and figured what the heck...but the deal was that he would only build for 1-2 hours a day so it would take some time.

It seems to be working thus far..he has been building it section by section and it seems to be coming along nicely.

This is a pretty large model and it looks stunning.
Great educational and fun value ..
