For a 7-year-old's birthday party we chose a Lego theme and used these as party favors. These are pretty tiny but nice. The glow-in-the-dark pieces really glow. This one also can be re-built and combined with another mini-racer to build a truck, which is nice.

I actually bought this set for my husband who just loves legos (he loves building). I thought this set was going to be a decently sized but I was wrong. It was super tiny and NOT worth the price I paid for it.

This would be great for kids 8 or younger as its SUPER simple to put together.

We bought this for our son (4) and he already had the other car that goes with this one to make the truck. He loves them and really enjoys building the individual vehicles or combining all the pieces to make the truck. He also spends a ton of time creating his own "things" with all the parts. Great value/to fun ratio...as always with Legos.
