More than just a toy..... Sep 07, 2008
Once again K'Nex has done it again. My son loves to build any and all complicated things from K'Nex. He can figure out things I can't and it keeps him busy and entertained for hours.
He loves showing them off to everyone and they are always impressed at what he creates.

My boys, including my husband loved putting this swing together. It has two options to build but was very fun to do.

Our 9-yo daughter thinks it's cool. It arrived in the mail and she couldn't wait to put it together. We worked on it together and had no problems sorting out how it went together. The instruction booklet shows clearly how each set of pieces go together then are put together to form the successive stages of the construction. The pieces are hard, but not brittle, plastic in different colors. The diagrams in the booklet are in color, so it was easy to tell which piece was which and where they went. Once she turned it on, then she was excited again about the play possibilities for it and started adding other toy figures in the seats for amusement park-style rides for the toys.

This was a very heavy duty, well made toy. The boys played with this for hours and are still using it. It was a very good buy and would recommend to anyone. Great product.

Nice set, but a bit too old for my son Feb 10, 2008
We knew our son was a bit young for this, but opted to try it anyway. This was a nice project for my husband and son to have sme one on one time working on a project together. Was a bit delicate (small pieces) for my 5 year old, but was fascinating to him.

Once put together, we never really "played" with it. He would turn it on for kicks sometimes and tried to make other things with the pieces.
