My 2.5 year old daughter plays well with these Kid Knex kits, my 6 year old son loves them and my 8 year old son will also join the other two when they have these pieces out. Even an adult with free time would enjoy this creative activity that comes with a suggestions poster. The best thing about these PALS sets over similar ones, is that they have interesting eyes, hands, and feet pieces to build creatures that are more fun for my kids than building cars or buildings. Manipulating these pieces to fit together would probably be too difficult for a child under 2.5

My son (four years old) got these for his birthday and he absolutely loves them! He has several sets now and plays with them on a daily basis. He uses his imagination and creates such wonderful "creatures" and "things" - - I love to watch the excitement in his eyes when he has created something new and he is coming to me to show it off! My daughter is six and she also loves K'nex - - they are a great toy for them to play with together. We would recommend K'nex to everyone!

This was a Christmas gift for my son who is 3. He and his older brother (age 5) both love it! Lots of fun things to build and play with! Definitely recommend!

I gave this to my daughter for her 4th birthday. We already had one set but we have found that you can never have too many Kid K'nex. We like this set because it comes with the pieces to make swings and such. I highly recommend this for kids ages 3-10.
