Must Have Accessory May 11, 2010
By Jere Williams I toyed with the idea of building my own with an 18 Ah battery pack, inverter and charger, but by the time I put it all together, the cost difference wasn't worth getting the custom vented bag and handy little extension cord. Makes the Lite Flight machine even more useful than before. If you have a Light Flight, you have to have one of these. It will run for hours, and charges quickly. Definitely recommended accessory.
A must have for remote locations with no power! Mar 22, 2012
By BILL MAXWELL If you own the Jugs Lite-Flite pitching machine and the field you practice on doesn't have power/electricity. Then this Battery Pack is a must! We tried using the pitching machine one season with a generator and it worked. But it was loud & the 100+ foot ext. cords, remembering to put gas in the generator,etc.etc. This battery pack is fully charged after just an hour or two of long usage & you're ready to go the next day for practice. Very light & easy to hook up. A must if you're a coach and don't have access to electricity where you practice.
City man misses country ball fields Apr 29, 2011
By Zorax I found that this battery inverter is absolutely necessary to use the Lite-Flite pitching machine at most ball fields in the metro areas. Time after time, I've been to metro area fields with no 120V outlet in sight. Geez!
Growing up playing small town baseball and softball, every single field that I recall had power for people to use at the field. This included those baseball fields in Southwestern Minnesota that are practically carved in between corn fields. There is nothing like amateur baseball in Minnesota. Everyone is proud of their parks, invests in them and keep them up as a matter of pride. The city and suburban parks rely strictly on budgets and certainly do not have the same amenities or charm.
The battery pack works well, is light, and gives plenty of play time between charges. It's a worthwile addition even if you have available power for the added flexibility and no need for extension cords.
Super Battery Pack Aug 20, 2009

The battery pack works well with the small ball unit I have. The charge holds well and the recharging time is accurate. The small ball unit is also very good. pitches are accurate. The curveball does not fall of the table, but it does drop out of the zone.

Best way to go for power on the go. Aug 24, 2010

I already had everything I needed to have mobile power for our new Jug's pitching machine. I have an RV battery, battery charger, power inverter, and strong back.
This product provides a very simple solution the power problem. It recharges quick and comes in sanitary packaging. There is no battery acid to leak out and no cables. You get the power you need and a very short power cord that is amazingly the correct length. Another great Jug's product.
Buy this to go with your pitching machine. Why go the hodge-podge route?
