Great entry level product. May 03, 2006
By Richard Macartney I recently purchsed this set. I had been considering lanscape lighting for several months, but knowing little about it determined to wait until I could afford a complete solution.
At the discounted price of $38 this option offered a low risk entry to the technology. I was very happy with the ease of installation and the qty of lights. The lights are plasitic and feel very temporary, but look nice enough. I was able to light up half of my yard, but did have to buy a heavier gauge wire as 100 feet was not quite enough to get the job done.
All in all, I purchased another set for the other side of the yard so that is probably as much of an endorsement as needed.

Fantastic deal! Apr 23, 2008

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I should order this light set. However, the price is fantastic and I have heard good things about Malibu from other websites so I gave it a try. The lights arrived yesterday in a very nice box. I was happy to find the parts all organized and packed with care. I set up an assembly line on my patio and put all of the tier lights and flood lights together within an hour. The directions could use some help but to be honest, I just used the picture to assemble everything. I set out my lights, clamped them to the wire, buried the wire and pushed the lights into the ground. Easy stuff and they look very nice. I replaced some of the really old Malibu metal tier lights that came with the house and I like the plastic better. I'm 100% happy with this set and I'm thinking about getting another for adding lights to the front of my house. What a great deal!

Nostalgia Jul 22, 2006
By In the Dark Ever pick up a set of lincoln logs at a garage sale and get home and have your kid open it to find a box of miscellaneous parts stuffed in to a box? Half of the items are broken and some parts are just not there? If you miss those days - then this is the item for you! Wow, good one Amazon. They really should keep the marketing groups from the manufacturer from writing these reviews. My wife actually giggled at the look on my face when I opened the box. I am glad I didn't cut myself on the broken glass. On the upside, there is absolutely no packaging to discard except for the outer box. Oh - and its contents.

Excellent value easy to install, years of service! Nov 16, 2007

Unlike other reviewers, I found the product to be simple to assemble and easy to install. I have had a similar set of lights that has ringed my deck for nearly ten years. The lights are on at dusk and off at dawn - 365 days a year. I have had to replace one or two bulbs of the whole lot in that length of time. The package had everything that I needed to install the lights, nothing missing, nothing broken. While they are not high end stuff, they work well and hold up to hot summers and icy-cold winters - and have for years.

Look good Feb 21, 2007
By D. Branum I was pleased with the number of lights you get with this package. Kinda disappointed that they do not generate alot of light. But I am very pleased with my purchase. The lights really look good outside and it covered all across the front of my house perfectly.
