Hundreds of Uses In Your Home
Consider how often you heat water in the kitchen. When you do, you'll realize just how useful an instant hot water dispenser can be in your kitchen. With 200° F near-boiling water available at your fingertips, you'll get more done in less time. Instead of waiting for water to heat, you can finish countless kitchen tasks in seconds and relax or get back to your guests.

An InSinkErator hot water dispenser does more than provide hot water for preparing instant foods and beverages, it is also an incredible kitchen appliance. Use it to loosen stubborn jar lids, prepare pasta, warm baby food, clean crusty pans, cream butter, melt chocolate, remove fruit skins for pies, clean cheese graters, scoop ice cream, cut cheese, and warm pancake syrup. These are just a few examples of the many uses of an instant hot water dispenser.

Hot Water Instantly, How Does That Work?
When you twist the hot-water handle on your InSinkErator Instant Hot Water Dispenser, water comes up from the supply line. From there it travels from the system to our 2/3-gallon tank, where it's heated to 200° F. As the water is used, it is replaced with more water. With the fast-recovery system, it can deliver up to 60 cups of near-boiling water an hour. You can even adjust the temperature to your liking, right on the hot water tank.

Easy to Install
The InSinkErator Invite H770-SS Instant Hot Water Dispenser will save you time and effort in the kitchen, and you'll enjoy discovering new uses for it each day. That's exactly why millions of people are now using an InSinkErator Instant Hot Water Dispenser. By following the step-by-step instructions, you'll soon be enjoying the convenience of instant hot water.

Heating water with the Invite H770-SS consumes less energy than a 40-watt light bulb that's left on for 24 hours and costs just pennies a day to operate. And because hot water is dispensed on demand, you only use the amount of water you need. This helps reduce water waste.

Optional Filtration Systems
The F-201 Filtration System is a great add-on to your Invite H770-SS instant hot water dispenser. The F-201 Filtration system is the only water filtration system designed specifically for instant hot water dispensers. The system reduces chlorine taste and odor for clean, fresher tasting water. Upgrade to the F-601R Replacement Filter to reduce chlorine taste and odor, lead, mercury, asbestos, cysts and chemicals for cleaner, healthier water.

We Come To You Parts and Labor Warranty
The Invite H770-SS is backed by an exclusive 3-year We Come to You In-Home Service Warranty. If you ever have a problem with your instant hot water dispenser system, an InSinkErator authorized service agent will come to your home and fix or replace it, at no charge to you.

Note: Using other manufacturers' components with InSinkErator faucets or tanks voids all InSinkErator warranties.

1Works well until it breaks after warranty  Feb 01, 2009
By M. Gozum
The H770 is a small water heater with a dedicated faucet delivering 190F water. Seems like a simple idea that doesn't take rocket science to design. I have had 2 of these units, the first lasted 5 years, the next 4 years and they fail the same way, the tank leaks and creates a mess. Now, I'm looking at a 3rd unit after 9 years of using these products. I have whole home water heaters cost 2x this heater, require $100 professional installation, but lasts over 4-5x longer. Newer models are not drop in replacements either, as there are minute valve position changes, meaning another $100 professional labor cost if I didn't do it myself. Per instructions, it takes about 1 hour for a professional to install, and that includes working is a tight space underneath a kitchen sink. Now, the maker claims that the H770, like any water heater, wears out with time, and that's a given. However, instant hot water is less a necessity than a whole home water heater. Its easier to use an electric thermo pot, is far cheaper and easily serviced or replaced by a consumer and they last for decades. Lastly, a thermo pot can be filled with better filtered or bottle water rather than relying on pure tap water, as the H770 does [there is a filtered water version, but its otherwise a similar apparatus.] If you are aware this product lasts to 5 years and are willing to endure the replacement labor and cost, by all means, otherwise this product cannot be recommended.

3Liked it but wish it was more reliable  Sep 26, 2007
By Pamela Ferrell
1st tank cracked and leaked after about 2 years. Second tank had different fittings and the fitting are now leaking (2 more years). New tanks have different fitting agian and I am trying to decide if it is worth replacing the tank or just getting a different brand.

2Be prepared to replace after 2 years  Nov 08, 2008
By Barry K. Brown
Today I look under my sink and see the water puddle. Check my receipt for water dispenser, two years old. That figures, for fifteen years I have had the insinkerator hot water dispenser. The first lasted nearly eight years before the tank leaked. The second five years before the tank leaked this one two years. They are a great idea but the price has risen dramatically(just over $100 initially) and the quality has dropped alarmingly. When the tank leaks you have to change the complete unit as the dispenser to tank fittings change so now I face spending nearly $200 for a replacement. I think I will check out other manufacturers first!

5COMPANY MADE GOOD!  Apr 24, 2009
By R. Guest
I have had two of these units in the 15 years that we have had our kitchen. The first unit lasted about 9.5 years, the second one lasted only 5.5 years. If I remember correctly, the first one had a stainless metal tank (as I am always taking things apart), this one has a white plastic tank and has apparently been leaking for a couple of years as there was a lot of mineral buildup at the lower electrode where it enters the plastic tank and a lot of internal rusting of the sheet metal tank housing. I was fortunate to see a small puddle under the tank, and upon further observation with a bright light, I could see rust marks on the OUTSIDE of the sheet metal tank! My water is softened, so I do not have any problems at all with hard water.

BEWARE, if you have one of these units, CHECK IT COMPLETELY BEFORE THE WARRANTY IS UP TO BE CERTAIN THERE ARE NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER! A bright light helps, along with removing the front panel, AFTER UNPLUGGING the unit!

UPDATE:
After demanding to speak with a manager at customer service, then another manager, then another one, and after being on the phone for about two hours telling my story ad nauseam, I finally had them ship me, all expenses paid, a brand new unit! I think I had the thing the next evening by FedEx!

I will definately recommend Insinkerator products to my customers in both of my lines of work. This went from a one-star COMPLAINT to a FIVE STAR COMPLIMENT!

1NO FLOW (extremely slow)  Sep 28, 2008
By Bill R. Adams
Replaced existing H770 with new InSinkErator H770-SS Instant Hot Water Dispenser. New H770SS takes 40 seconds to fill a small coffee cup with hot water. Old H770 was instantaneous by comparison. New H770-SS flow extremely limited while water flow to it is good (same as to old H770). H770-SS is a waste of money since existing Microwave can heat same amount of cold water in the same time. Review wouldn't accept "No Star" rating, wanted to go Negative but couldn't
