I'll cut to the chase.
1. Easy installation 2. Great value, considering that I don't have to buy a new TV for another 3-4 years 3. Just like the original
No complaints what-so-ever. I actually bought it and replaced the lamp on my parents' TV. They called yesterday to thank me... They were enjoying watching a hi def movie on their 56" TV with a bright screen.

The product works great and provides a very sharp high quality HDTV picture. It is easy to install and comes with easy to understand directions. The one that came with my DLP Samsung TV lasted eight years before failing. I recommend purchasing this part before your current lamp fails because you will loose the use of your HDTV until you replace the lamp, the cost of parts will rise and availability may decline.
I purchased a DLP HDTV instead of Plasma TV because at the time I bought it; I was told once the plasma TV fail you might as well discard it and with the DLP all you had to do was replace the lamp. I was told the lamp should last about five years depending on the use. I work from 2PM-10PM and my wife work from 7AM-3PM, therefore we could have an above normal usage.

Bought this to replace the factory lamp in my 61" Samsung DLP HD TV, it was easy to install and works perfectly. I've put about 300 hours on the TV since I've installed it with no complaints and no defects.

By Geri This item was exactly as described and it resolved the issue I had with the TV. Very easy to remove old lamp and install new. (couple of screws and a plug).
Glad I was able to fix this TV for this small amount instead of having to chuck it and a get another TV.
