Great product and value. Dec 03, 2008 This Garmin has many great features and if you register it in the first 60 days you can get the most current Euro and N. America maps for free. Easy to use and very functional. The battery life has not felt like 8 hours, but maybe 6. The Garmin 370 doesn't show when the unit is fully charged, which I understand this was a known problem. Bluetooth works very 'echo'ey but if you ran an fm modulater or headphone jack to a car stereo you could do a better job of hands free calling by way of the car speakers. My Lg vx8550 chocolate phone through verizon did not function with transferring the phonebook to the Gps via Bluetooth; so I don't know who is calling on the 370.
It works! Dec 02, 2008 I bought this rather than rent one with the car when I was traveling to Scotland (the price was barely more than it would have cost to rent it for eight days from the rental car company) and just got back from my trip. It worked perfectly - helping me navigate my way on the wrong side of the road. We found our way through big cities and also crossing across the country.
I've used it for about a month at home, too, and it is useful, not just for the ability to map out directions - but also for finding parking and fuel.
It was simple to use when I switched countries - picking up Scotland automatically. No complaints so far.
Garmin 370 Nov 29, 2008 This is in addition to my Garmin 350. Received in excellent condition. Everything I have ordered from Amazon has been very good both in service and delivery.

Simple GPS works fine, and stood the test of time Nov 25, 2008 I bought this thing over a year ago, it is my only GPS to date, and works smooth (and better than some models friends have).
The nice thing is you can take this to-go, and plug it into a friends car. Or bring it with you on a place and put it in the rental car. I went to Brazil, and aside from having to get the Brazil maps loaded on in advance, worked very nicely, with Points Of Interest there too.
The fact that they made the traffic antenna a seperate thing is a bit ugly, hopefully that part is integrated into the devices soon (if not in the newer models allready).
works well Nov 17, 2008 bought for wife, she simply cannot navigate or follow directions. she loves this unit, and so do I.
