 Syma S107G Replacement Parts Red Jan 02, 2012
This is a great kit for anyone with a Syma S107G. I have used three of the parts in the kit so far: Two rotor blades and the vertical tail fin. My top two rotors were getting battered from crashing into everything from doorways to dinner tables. After various rough landings the vertical tail fin snapped, as it touches the ground when you land. That had happened to my first Syma S107G, when I didn't have a repair kit. That doesn't affect flying, but it does take away some of the heli's "cool factor". Overall, this is a great kit, and if I had another Syma I would definitely buy this product again.
One complaint: the screws are TINY and extremely frustrating to handle. One of mine got lost INSIDE the helicopter and I had to get it out with tweezers. This product got four stars for being educational because it teaches you to have steady hands and keep your cool during a tense situation.

Parts are similar, but not quite the same. I bought this package because I had a broken tail. The clip that attaches to the tail isn't the same and allows the tail to move and spin freely, forcing me to stop and set it back up straight every time it moves out of place. For me this is a major pain and ruins the whole set! Like other reviewers have said, the balance bar isn't the same either.

Excellent service from the supplier, the odd thing is that I have not been billed for this item as yet? The parts arrived well packed and in good shape. Unfortunately the one part that I required for the repair (Balance Bar) has an undersized hole for the pivot pin and will require some work to enlarge so as to make the balance bar work freely. I hope that I can do this successfully.

Not worth the purchase considering how they've held up Apr 12, 2012

I beat my heli up pretty good when I first got it, so I needed to replace some parts. Since purchasing this kit I have replaced the tail fin and the blades. Considering that my flying is now a lot better and i rarely crash, this should last longer but the product doesn't. The tail fin snapped after a few days from a minor upright crash onto the skids, and one of the blades broke after hitting a wall about a week into having them on. Compared to the originals, these are not nearly as durable. Originals took dozens of crashes before chipping or cracking. These replacement parts snap way easier. With the money you'd put into replacement kits you might as well just buy a new heli.

Every part that I needed was in one package. The shipping from this company was very fast.
