Great for eczema May 07, 2007
By HeatherR My one year old has a pretty bad case of eczema, and this is the only lotion that I have found to show marked improvement in his condition. I use it in combination with the Aquaphor gentle wash for a one, two punch. My only complaint is that it is so greasy.

I've spent loads of money on creams for my girl, believe it or not, Eucerin is her favorite.
She has dry, sensitive skin and dabs it on her lips and where she has a few crows feet trying to increase. Eucerin REALLY keeps her lines at bay.
Honest !

This May Make Your Eczema Worse Nov 14, 2007
By D. Bupp Methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone are potent sensitizers and bacterial mutagens that have links to neurological damage. Not only that, they are known allergens for 2 to 4 percent of the population. Through patch testing, I have found out I am allergic to MCI/MI and my eczema has improved dramatically since avoiding Eucerin products. Eucerin is one of the few companies that insist on using these ingredients in leave-on products. I have asked Eucerin directly for an explanation and received the following answer: "We are unable to disclose ingredient information, other than as required by law, regarding our product formulations. We adhere to this policy to ensure that trade secrets and other proprietary business information remain confidential."
There are alternatives with safe ingredients. I use unscented Albolene, sold as a make-up remover, and it contains no nasty preservatives.

The Eucerin Creme is a must have for Eczema Jan 20, 2008

I have gone to many Dermatologists and they tell me other than steroids and/or medicated dandruff shampoo Eczema is not treatable, but they don't recommend steroids. Go figure! My hairdresser told me to try this on my scalp and sometimes on my skin due to dryness. The Dandruff shampoo makes my scalp extra dry and this product has made a huge difference in my life for over 15 years. I have had Eczema all my life and I was able to get a written note from my Dermatologist so I believe my Companies Health Care spending account may reimburse me. I hope this helps, but if know a better product please let me know. The only drawback is that it is really oily, but what can you do other than use it and pray that the Lord will remove this infirmity when majority of the Dermatologists can't really help you?
GOD Bless!
