broke after 3rd use... Jan 07, 2010

My daughter opened this on Christmas day and was thrilled....she used it successfully on her own (short) hair, my (very short) hair, but ] when she reloaded it to use it again after 5 days it died. We've tried replacing the batteries, nothing works....
Very Disappointing Dec 10, 2009
By D. Sepp My daughter received this for Christmas last year. The idea is great for tweens whose moms don't want them to actually streak their hair. Although the applicator seems built to last the hair colors were very faint. You couldn't even detect the change on my daughter's hair without being extremely close to her. We followed all of the directions to the letter. Perhaps we got a package with old tint? Anyway, it was very disappointing for my daughter. She lost all of her excitement for it, even when I suggested we try to buy more colors. The low rating for educational value is because, well, you don't expect something like this to be educational except perhaps for learning that if you color your hair you might be disappointed in the end!

Love It May 21, 2008
By Linda This is a great gift for young girls. The kit works really well. It includes everything that you need: Hair Color Wand, 6 Washable Colors (Purple, Coral, Gold, Blue, Green, and Pink), Bristle Brush Head, and 2 AA batteries. The colors are temporary and you can wash them out of your daughter's hair. The color palettes are pretty easy to change, and the wand is easy to use. It's cordless and battery operated, and it isn't bulky.
