In our situation, the sizing seemed to run a little small, but was still manageable. The main problem was that the sound chip that was supposed to be in the costume had obviously been cut out and removed. After several phone calls and much time spent "on-hold" with the vendor (Brands On Sale), it was finally determined that they could mail us a sound chip that they had in stock from another costume, since they refused to give us a refund or exchange (actually tried to tell us that it was not advertised that there was a sound chip with the costume). That was on October 20. As I write this review, it is November 14 and we still don't have the sound chip. I guess this review is really of the company (Brands On Sale) rather than the product, but a bad experience nonetheless.
