5Love It!  Feb 18, 2008
By Elena Chu
I ordered this for my daughter on Feb 8 and it arrived at our door step on Feb 11th. We were so excited that we put it together right away and put her in it...immediately she figured out that putting her hands on the buttons made sounds and she loved it. Her eyes were filled with wonder as she inquisitively explored the various toys. Everytime we put her in it she'll spend the first 5 mins playing with the toys. Once she's had enough of it then will she look up and look for us & tries to move around. Because she is only 3.5 months old & her feet don't quite touch the floor completely even at the lowest setting so we padded the adjustable component with rolled up cardboard so that the walker sits lower to the floor just a bit more for her feet to reach. (We put a good amount of weight to the test to make sure the card board would not give into the weight since we would not want the walker to all of a sudden fold down while she's in it...we eventually replaced the cardboard with a paint stick) We've probably put her in it a hand full of times, and yesterday she actually walked in it!! We couldn't believe that a 3.5 months old was roaming the house in this walker. We have hardwood floor on the whole first floor so she'd slide around very easily, we'd have to rescue her whenever she runs into the corner of the wall and puts herself in timeout though. But even when that happens she just plays with the toys when she's stuck. She loves this and we'd highly recommend it. 6/18/08 Update: she is now 7 months and is already trying to walk. She climbs everything in sight and grabs hold and stands...I can't help but think if she is so advanced for her age because we started her off in this walker very early on and therefore she had a full grasp of the concept of walking and moving around. Needless to say from 3.5-7 months, she enjoyed the walker immensely, and it gave both her and I so~ much freedom. She would fly around the house estatic, and mastered reversing and turning quickly. Now at 7 months and standing, she is not as interested in sitting in this walker so I'm on a search for something that will continue to give her the independence to explore and learn with little or no help from me...maybe the "walking wings" next?!?

4fixed back wheels  May 10, 2008
By D. Mcwilliams "Apache Pilots Wife/Mum of 3"
I love everything about this walker,i bought chicco because my first 2 kids had one and it was great, the toy tray isn't in babys face like some walkers ect......that being said the rear wheels are fixed so baby can't walk sideways, which is the direction they learn first, then backwards also a problem stearing it...it only goes forward well.plus the 'red' on the walker is hot pink.Still really durable walker
Recomended age 6-11 months not for walking babies or babies that can't sit propped up or have good head control!

5Chicco DJ Baby Walker Color: Splash  Jan 02, 2008
By P. Lovellette
The walker is wonderful! Our granddaughter, Emma, loves it! In fact, her parents have commented that this is the BMW, Cadillac, and Mercedes of the baby walkers! Emma whines and cries while in the Pooh walker at her home but when she's at grandma's house, she spots the Chicco walker and her eyes gleam and she's excited to sit and play. Her parents say that she likes grandma's Chicco walker better than the one they have. I must agree. The music is pleasant to everyone. Emma moves the ball around; she hits the keys and she is only 5 1/2 months old. I didn't expect this. I only keep her in it for 30 minutes max. Then it's holding time or tummy time. Then it's back to the walker for a little more time. The walker is very sturdy, easy to assemble but the directions did not mention the purpose of a strap that is included. I called customer service and was told that it is for mounting the detachable musical insert onto a crib or a stroller. Also, love the fact that it collapses for easy storage. The company that sent it had extremely fast shipping and that is saying something since this was purchased during holiday shipping and it was free shipping. Great purchase!

5Awesome  Aug 19, 2008
By J. Menon "Dharmachakramudra"
This walker is the shiznite. My son loves this thing! I don't care about the colors and all that jazz. I mean, it isn't like my son looked at it and was like - that red looks pink, I ain't getting into this thing....
anyway, the bumper is awesome, and keeps him from smashing his little hands on everything. The activity center is like the love of his life. It has so many sounds/effects that it is hard to keep up with. Since you can remove it and use the tray, he can play with other toys on it as well.
The grips make it hard for him to go from our hardwood floors to carpet, so it stops him in his tracks.
Although you must monitor him in it for every moment, it has really brought this boy a sense of independence. He chases us, walks to us, follows us, it is pretty sweet.
What an awesome product.

5This is my 12 month-old's favorite thing in the world!  Oct 26, 2011
By Oklahoma Mom
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3VLI4NCOATUD9 This has been the most wonderful piece of equipment for our 12 month-old daughter! We got it for her at 9 months old, when she outgrew her beloved Jumperoo (another fantastic piece of equipment), but she was still needing something that could keep her upright. She, like her two brothers before her, will probably be a "late" walker. Even at 12 months, she is not showing much interest in walking on her own, so this little walker is perfect for her. Our daughter is 31 inches tall, and the tallest height setting is just right for her, with room to spare. She can really zip around in this thing, going on wood/tile floors as well as carpet (we did not install the stair stops on the bottom of the walker so that it would be easier for her to get over the doorway thresholds). She can easily move this walker in all directions and navigate through tight spaces. The fun activities on the play tray are an added bonus, and they keep our daughter, as well as her two older brothers, entertained. This walker easily folds flat, so we take it everywhere with us. As an example, here is a video of our 12 month-old cruising around the halls of a hotel we recently stayed in.

By the way, we started out with the Combi GT car walker, instead of this one, and it was a big mistake! That thing was twice the price, and bigger and heavier than the Chicco walker. Our daughter could not make it go forward...it was so heavy and bulky that she could only make it go backward. It was very frustrating for her. I'm so glad we sold that one and got the Chicco instead!
