Not as good as previous Cetaphil. Jan 24, 2008
By Sinclair Cohen Be careful buying this newer product. I used the original Cetaphil moisturizing fragrance cream for years, in the 20 oz. container with aqua colored label. It felt very good on my skin.
I noticed this newer Cetaphil container, which is still labelled "moisturizing cream for dry, sensitive skin" but has petrolatum as the second ingredient. It's not as pleasent to use, feels like plain petroleum jelly. The older product contained glyceryl as the second ingredient, after water.
So the company changed its formulation to a less wonderful cream, without indicating this to customers. That sucks!

Great baby cream too Jan 21, 2007
By Dana C Upon recommendation from our pediatrician, we began using Cetaphil cream on our 4 month old to soothe dry sensitive skin. It has worked wonderfully helping her skin look and feel so much healthier. Highly recommend this cream to all for adults as well as kids.

Cetaphil Fragrance Free Moisturizing Cream, 16-Ounce Mar 12, 2007
By R. Preusser I strongly recommend this product to who ever is a sufferer from chronic dry, sensitive skin (like I'm). I have found that no moisturizing creams have ever come close to as Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream has. This is the only cream that I have found to improve my dry itchy skin (especially applied after a shower). I have found that even the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion has not even come close to the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. I noticed that Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion had actually made me break out from some ingredient that reacted harshly to my dry sensitive skin. If this sounds like you give Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream a try.

Wonderful for extra sensitive skin -- Dermatologist recommended Jan 22, 2008
By Sarah Davis
"Sarahahaha"
Cetaphil cream (in the jar) was recommended to me by a well respected NY dermatologist who has her own skin care line! I have really sensitive skin--prone to breakouts and rashes, dry and oily all at the same time. If I don't moisturize everyday I get those icky red bumps on the back of my arms. Cetaphil made them go away completely! This is the best skin care cream out there and I have tried MANY. (Others I have tried include Lubriderm, Aveeno, Vasline Intensive Care, Olay, Dove, on and on. This beats them all!) When my skin is at its worst--itchy and reactive--I can put Cetaphil on my skin and I wouldn't trust anything else.

Better than Eucerin and Vaseline Creamy Dec 08, 2007
By Living Wholly I am sensitive to fragrances and have struggled with dry, itchy skin which gets much worse in the winter. I have used, on advice of my physician, Vaseline Creamy and Eucerin. Both had a thick, gooey feel, but they kept my skin from itching and so I used them. Cetaphil Cream (not lotion) is far superior. It isn't too thick, and it does the job. Highly recommended for anyone who suffers from dry skin. I even use a light coat on my face before applying makeup. It's wonderful.
