Elegant and refined, this Cartier watch is a stunning tribute to the pioneer aviator Santos-Dumont. The Santos Demoiselle attracts attention with a luxurious band of alternating stainless steel and 18-karat yellow gold. Set in a stainless steel 22-millimeter case and bezel, the watch also features an 18-karat yellow gold octagonal crown set with a faceted spinel. The square, silvered opaline-white dial has bold Roman-numeral hour markers and sword-shaped steel hands. Powered by Cartier's own Swiss-quartz, two-hand movement, this divine timepiece is also water resistant to 99 feet.

This watch always looks appropriate. The combination of gold and stainless steel gives it an understated elegance. It is so comfortable on the wrist that you'll probably forget you have it on. I recieved this watch as a graduation gift in 1996 and its still my favortie.
