I purchased the Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5-10x40 about a year ago. I use it on an Armalite AR-10 with a quick release mount. This has been a fantastic combination for accuracy, under 1 MOA with NATO surplus ammo. The way the reticle changes with the light conditions is almost like magic. It is the clearest, brightest scope I've looked through. I have nearly 600 rounds through the rifle, 500 with the scope mounted and the zero has held 100%. I even dropped the scope on a concrete floor accidentally. To my surprise and relief I couldn't even find a mark on it. The next trip to the range showed no issues, first three shot group at 150 yds had all holes touching, 25 rounds in a row could be covered by a silver dollar. I'd love to see what this combo could do with a real shooter on the trigger. Bushnell has definitely stepped up the quality of their scopes. I wouldn't be afraid to recommend this scope to anyone and I don't often recommend anything. Now their range finder was a different issue.....
