I purchased this bed in November, 2008. On the very first usage, it developed a leak. On every subsequent usage there were additional leaks. These leaks were always in the seams. As a result, the bed has become useless. I would highly recommend that if you do purchase the unit and if it leaks, immediately return it and seek a refund. I foolishly thought I could simply repair the problems as they occurred. The result is I wasted my money.

As far as I can tell it holds air pretty good. The pump is 110 volt only - so no good in Europe as I found out! :)

As soon as the aero bed was out of the box it was on its way out of town. This bed inflated in minutes and held its shape throughout several days--with the additional of some air at times. The woman who slept on it said it was "great" and better than the regulary mattress she could have slept on. There was no odor. A mattress pad was used to help give the mattress some extra padding for comfort. Regular twin bed sheets fit well. Being raised was an added bonus. Another used said it was "very comfortable and I slept well." It deflated in minutes and was ready to be put back into its carrying case.
