Baseball practice w/ this is a lot of fun Jul 11, 2009
By S. Tenglin Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1V8SQ3JMHNLHK This was set at #7 on the dial, at 46 feet. At #10 on the dial, it really zips in there (I can usually hit from both sides in the 'Very Fast' batting cages, but couldn't hit this at 10).
This machine is great for delivering pitch after pitch in the strikezone. After 2 days, the kids are ripping line drives and hard grounders. The balls are soft and don't hurt like a real ball.
We also use it for popups. It's fun to rotate the machine to curve ball and then shoot out some tailing grounders or popups. Overall -- well worth the money.

Works Good Aug 27, 2011
By C. Jones This machine works just fine. What really sold me on it was the video someone posted on the product page of this machine on Amazon. (video review) It's a good machine that can really zip them in there. My eight year old had a better batting swing and stance within an hour of using this machine. I'd give it five stars but I never give out five stars. PS it uses tennis ball just fine too, so they should advertise it for people practicing tennis also.

THIS MACHINE DELIVERS! Apr 17, 2011
By Frank My 8yr old son plays competitive travel ball and it's important to train competitively. I created a batting cage at home and use the power streak at 40ft. It's incredibly accurate, easy to use, very light but really really sturdy, and was really well priced. You can truly work hitting inside and outside corners, and older players can work all the offspeed pitches. I absolutely love the machine!! The one drawback is that you can only use the hard foam balls and not real baseballs, but the feedback from the hard foam seems close to that of a baseball when hit.
